Hills Hacker 2010

What a great day! Weather was perfect, course looked good, plenty of chilled beer, no excuses for not hitting a decent golf ball. Except for the townies (Tony, Claude & John) of course, who won the 'Couldn't Swing a Pick' Award for only just managing to break 100 in an Ambrose!

The winning team (Dave, Steve J, Matt), took out the Hills Hackers Award. After squeezing in a win by 0.2 of a point they called themselves the Mad Weapons. I reckon Skinfull was a better name but they played well, especially on the back nine, hitting an eagle on the longest par 5. Steve J also took out the longest drive of the day, almost driving his ball into the eski at the clubhouse. The nearest-the-pin was funny because no-one managed to hit the green!
