World Cup Exit

Bad luck Aussies, sorry to see you go. You deseerved to go to the next round and have proved you can mix it with the best.

No fault of Neills, not even sure it was a penalty.

Good on ya Guus, you did a great job.

Good showing against Brazil

That wasn't bad was it? 2-0 down but I reckon the Aussies did OK and showed some class. Emerton's got some good moves and Kewell was lively when he came on. They may have lost but they belong on the world stage.

What a Win!

That was a great win against Japan, but I still don't get soccer scoring! How can two teams play for 90 minutes and leave the chance of an unfair result. There's not enough goals. I'd like to see at least 5 goals a game by each side. If only 1 goal is scored then it might be scored by the wrong team. I'm watching it for the Aussies but I'd still rather see a close AFL game anyday - as long as they are not flooding ;)

Aussie v Japan

I reckon we've got a good chance tomorrow night. The World Cup is huge at the moment. I have a sinking feeling it might die off very quickly if the Aussies lose to Japan & Croatia. But if they get to the final 16 it'll be the biggest watched sports ever. Go Aussies!

Crows win on a rainy night!

I was a bit worried at the end of the first quarter but it seems Craigy learnt from the Richmond game and pulled the plug on the running game much quicker. Anyway, it worked and the Crows regained control for a good win.
